Take Bath

I am writing this while waiting for my dear taking bath. He always takes longer time than me. :P
Well, some people do take more time but some are less. I always wonder what are people doing inside the bathroom for so long? Especially guys....
My dear always says he has a bigger body to wash so need more time. LOL! Yeah, now he is on MSN, it takes 20 minutes.
Not the worst case I ever met, I had a ex-colleague who can take bath for 1 hour everytime. We knew about his secret when we went for an outstation conference, he almost spend an hour in bathroom everyday before dinner, and everybody had to wait for him. No body dare to ask what he was doing in the bathroom, as he was one of our senior manager. LOL!

Ms. Elizabeth Wong

I read a lot of comments about Ms. Eli Wong, many come out and stand for her. Most people do not support her resignation but I think she has no choice if that is the party's decision. As a strong woman like her who fight for human right and politic should not give up that easily.

As a woman, I feel pity for her. This incident remind us to be vigilance, especially becareful in choosing freind. She did nothing wrong, but had trust a wrong person. Nothing could be more hurt than being hurt by someone we love. No matter how strong the woman is, she needs someone to love and take care of her.

Ms. Eli, hope you can go through this, and fight for us (women). Many women's future and life have been ruin due to same encounter. Young star like Ah Q Gillian Chung could stand up and meet the audience again, why don't you?

The Qin Empire

I watch The Qin Empire tv series recently. It is not a bad choice if you like historic tv series. The story line is about how the Qin become strong from a poor and weak country. This period is very important in China history. Without Qin dynasty, we don't call ourself Chinese. Chinese is come from Qin (Chin).

Your may try this link to watch the series:

If you like it you can get the dvd from any DVD shop. Hong Kong Video is one of them.

Yo! Yo! V-Day is over!

V-day is finally over now. After sleep for 1 day, it is time to think of what should I do next. I promise to myself that I'll do something about my life after V-day. Life is too comfortable now, but I think it is time for me to move on. There is an idiom in chinese, 居安思危:be vigilant in peace time. It was told by an elderly.

Maybe you would think that I should have planned before new year. But, as a florist, I only can think after V-day and CNY. Nothing is more important than grap money first ma.... LOL!

Count Down to Valentine's Day

Since I had started my florist career 5 years ago, Valentine's Day became my No. 1 important day. I get busy 1 month before the VD every year, from design, marketing, planning, production to delivery, just like a small factory's operation. LOL!
Now, there are only few days more to VD, learn from previous years experience, we are more confident with more preparation been done. I'm counting days to VD, while work hard to do more preparation and get more business. Though market is really bad this year, but I still put hope on VD sales. On the current situation, we have to grab what ever we can and as much as we can. Hope everything goes smooth.

Love from Dubai

A guy called from Dubai today to order for a Valentine's Day hand bouquet. He asked for my suggestion for him on his situation try to get the girl as his girlfriend. Well, that's the common question been asked many times from my customer. Anyway, it is not so difficult to help him for this case. Firstly, he shows his sincere to order flowers from so far away. Secondly, most girls would feel excited for receiving flowers during the Valentine's Day, because the price shot up to triple, girls hate stingy guy, LOL!
Nonetheless, I still give him my professional suggestion, a secret weapon, TULIPS from Holand! This will really surprise the girl! Most guys only know to buy roses for girls, come on la.... try some new things, girls like surprise!

Chinese Valentine's Day - Chap Goh Meh

Hobe came to shoot some pictures of some hand bouquet yesterday. He told me that he cough due to eat too much Bak Kua during Chinese New Year! LOL! Everybody still in CNY mood, or more precisely -- CNY fever! Even MY FM DJs also desperately play CNY songs for these 2 day. But for me, I'm already in Valentine's Day mood.

Today is 15th day of CNY, it's the last day of CNY celebration and also the Chinese Valentine's Day! It is not as popular as 14th feb. Lovers tend to ignore it to put all their effort on 14th Feb. However, it can be a romantic day if you go to pak tor with your love one, walk down the street to catch the last firework and appreciate the lanterns on the street. Haiz.... wish my dear is with me now....

Cape No. 7

Many may have already watched Cape No. 7, some maybe not just once. It's a simple but excellent taiwanese movie. 2 love stories between 6 decades are very romantic, but I prefer to watch the band playing part. One of the bandmate who plays bass guitar (Mala Sun), 4th from the left of the photo below looks like one of my good friend KK. LOL!
If you plan to celebrate your Valentine's Day at home, Cape no. 7 might be a good choice. Either you watch it alone or with your love one, you would have a sweet and peaceful Valentine's Day, as simple and warm as the movie.
